High Stakes Poker

High Stakes Poker is a poker variant featuring the no-limit Texas Hold’em format. It premiered on January 16, 2006, and concluded on December 17, 2007. The show ran for three seasons from March 1, 2009, with a simulcast in 3D-TV. Participants in the show include both professional poker players and amateurs. The initial five seasons were hosted by AJ Benza and Gabe Kaplan. From the subsequent season onwards, Kara Scott replaced Benza as Kaplan’s co-host, conducting interviews on the poker room floor. Additionally, starting with the same season, Norm Macdonald took over as co-host alongside Scott, succeeding Gabe Kaplan.
